Welcome to this week’s edition of What’s Zed Got Going On?
Four for Fall! Four for Fall!

Join us this Thursday for the first of four consecutive limited-run beers! Zed’s Four for Fall: Candy Apple recreates the exceptional tart candy apple you used to love as a kid. And at 7.9% ABV, it’ll knock against the fall chill as you hang on the front porch at Zed’s Beer.
As a reminder, I’ve only made 31 gallons of this beer. We’re selling it by the 12 ounce glass only, no take-away. Whatever is left will be put in 12 ounce cans and will be available thursday, October 10.
New Beer Release! New Beer Release!
Zed’s in London—English Mild (dark) is making it’s triumphant return after almost two years! You’ll love the traditional taste and easy drinkability of this classic style. Created with 7 different grains and hops imported from Europe, this beer is complex. Be patient—let it warm in your hands a smidge before enjoying. 3.9% 19 IBUs.
We’re showing a movie! We’re showing a movie!
Join us on October 12 at 2PM for a special screening of For the Love of Craft, a new short from the Brewers Association! From their press release: “For the Love of Craft is a documentary short produced by the Brewers Association, Studio C3, and Charlie Papazian that peels back the label of what it means to be a craft brewer and reveals the true heart of craft by introducing the people behind it. From the luminaries and icons of the craft world, to the industry’s newest players, this film will dive deep and expose the desires, dreams, wisdoms, and naiveties of people pursuing their passions – through independence. Interviews include Larry Bell, Kevin Blodger, Ken Grossman, Kim Jordan, and Jim Koch.

We’re Not Perfect! We’re Not Perfect!
Take a look in Zed’s To Go fridge next time you’re in. Introducing “Imperfekt Pours,” hidden all the way at the bottom of the fridge. What’s an Imperfekt Pour? These are Crowler fills that for some reason didn’t meet our standards. Might have been short an ounce or so. Might have been made between keg changes. But take advantage of our Imperfektness and grab one for eight bucks. No guarantees on varieties or availability.
Pour it Forward! Pour it Forward!
What’s on the Pour It Forward this week? “anyone who owns a 1967 camaro.” “group home therapist” “owner of a very ugly dog”
